Although the website does not suggest it, Furniture at Work is totally unsuited to the private customer. They do not deliver on Saturdays at all, they will not deliver to a flat (except for a fee), and will not ring you back. They seem incapable of delivery. I have waited over a month for a delivery and have had to cancel my order. Sometimes the delivery company (with whom the call centre staff seem to have very limited communication) did not come; sometimes they would not leave the item or said there was no access when there clearly was. I was assured of delivery and nothing happened. Talking to managers resulted in inconsistencies (e.g. whether a signature is needed) and no delivery. Do not purchase from this company!!!
