Good Points

A cosmopolitan resort suiting families and couples. Fabulous marina. Lots of shops.

Bad Points

Beach not as good as I thought it would be - but still an acceptable standard.

General Comments

My family and I really enjoyed our holiday in Santa Eulalia. We were very impressed with the La Cala Hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms for two were a good size, with the rooms for three people having an extra space with a television, as well as the balcony. The Hotel didn't have air conditioning but did have ceiling fans which worked well. The lounges and bars in the Hotel were clean and comfortable. Meals were buffet style breakfasts and evening meals There was a fantastic choice of food - something to suit all tastes. There was also a good choice of snacks/meals available at lunch times from the bar. The pool wasn't very big but we used it most days as it didn't get too crowded, even in July. There were plenty sun beds and umbrellas available. There was some evening entertainment - the best of this being a brilliant flamenco show. Let the Hotel staff know, when you arrive, if anyone in your party has an anniversary or birthday. My daughter celebrated her birthday while on holiday and when we went for our evening meal in the restaurant they had made her a birthday cake and made a fuss of her - it was a lovely gesture. The Hotel was only a short stroll down to the marina, with its fabulous yachts and to the beautiful, wide promenade. Night life in Santa Eulalia was fairly quiet but there was a good choice of restaurants and bars with plenty of places to sit relax to watch the world go by. I would recommend the La Cala Hotel and Santa Eulalia for a relaxing family holiday!
