Comprehensive accounting software with useful features
Difficult to use for the first timer
My wife is setting up a small sole trader start up. I run a medium sized business, i have an accounts and finance manager to do the hard stuff. I am not a bookkeeping expert however.
We bought the MYOB Business Basics to handle the day to day accounting / bookkeeping for my wife's business. She has no trading experience. After much reading of reviews we settled on MYOBBB as it seemed the most comprehensive and good value.
It installs fine and contains some wizards to start building customer lists, account lists etc. However I have found the software impenetrable. For a established user of any other proprietary accounts package, I am sure they would be able to port over their experience quite easily into what seems like a good setup, but for the first time user it's tough.
We have gone for the money back offer and are trying quickbooks simple start
