Good Points
Head turning looks, fast, great fun.

Bad Points
Very expensive for what you get, cars with no warranty must be very expensive to maintain through main dealer. Boot is tiny. Image ruined in London area by various stickered fleets owned by estate agents.

General Comments
I bought one of these Mini Cooper 1.6 16V's three years ago and I love it. It's very fast with better fuel economy than the slightly faster Cooper s. As a city car, it's been very easy to park around London. The interior is comfortable enough, though leg room for rear passengers is poor. One magazine described it as a 3 seater, as you could not go away for the weekend with 4 people because all their bags would not fit in the boot. This car was a 'sensible' alternative to a 2 seater sports car for me.
