A good bowl of Kelloggs Coco Pops is, indeed, a treat and a decent way to set yourself up for the day.
By comparison to the coco pops of old, today's standard is poor. For those who remember, the solid bits of flavouring that are found frequently in today's packets were as rare as hen's teeth when I was a nipper, and to find one, ruins the bowl for me, as it leaves me in a state of anxious anticipation as I await the next. A similar thing has occurred with 'KP Skips' but that is another story.
The Kelloggs Coco Pops still ranks highly against other cereals. However, it has let itself down in recent years. It has, it seems, become somewhat fixated with the marketing side of life (who remembers the disastrous renaming debarcle of the 90's?) Come on old boy! Let's get back to how we were.
