Good Points

* Lots of features
* General build quality
* Call and camera quality
* Menu system

Bad Points

* Photo caller ID doesn't appear when you receive a text or MMS.

General Comments

* The features - the Sony Ericsson W810i just has too many to list. This phone has everything you can possibly want - It is not just a phone but a mobile entertainment centre as well. Combined with the expandable memory this phone has endless possibilities. I have just put most of my CD collection onto a 4G memory stick.

* I have had S/Es phones off and on for a number of years now and this has to be the first one that doesn't feel cheap and plasticky. It just feels solid and reliable. By getting rid of the cheap plastic joystick (such as on the K750i) and replacing it with an aluminium navigation control will reduce three quarters of the claims made under S/Es one year warranty, since most S/Es users I know have always had difficulties with their joystick. Although the build quality of the W810i is good S/Es still have a way to go on other models.

* The call quality is excellent and you often manage to get a signal in places which my Samsung couldn't. The 2MP camera is excellent as is the quality of the video. The flashlight is a useful addition as well.

* The S/Es menu system is easy to operate and is better than Nokia as you have the ability to customise most settings and functions to suit your needs or preferences.

* My only minor gripe is that S/Es used to have the photo caller ID picture showing up whenever you sent or received a text or MMS - they seem to have removed this facility which is a shame.

    Hiya. If you go to settings on your Sony Ericsson W810i mobile phone, then homescreen and select 'pop-up', your contacts faces will pop up when they text you :)
