Good Points

Myself (28), my girlfriend (37) and her son (8) really enjoyed our stay at the Bouganvilla. Very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were excellent and cleaned almost daily. Maids only missed 2 days on our 7 day visit (Mon & Friday I believe). The pool was excellent, nice and cold when you first get in but you soon get used to it and do not notice! Even the smaller pool next to the Big Top was excellent. Food wise we only tried the on site restaurant (can't remember name, but it was not the self catering restaurant). You could get take aways or sit in. The food and service could not be faulted. Very clean open kitchen where you could watch the chef's work and very friendly staff.

Most of the staff on site spoke excellent English which help the majority of people who do not speak Spanish. The 2 bar areas which were open were well staffed and had a variety of drinks, although on tap you could only get lager and dry cider.

The Big top had excellent entertainment on an evening especially the hired entertainment. We saw the Jackson 5 tribute (great night) missed the Temptations (gutted) and the Chinese Acrobats were amazing. The staff entertainment was a bit poor although the kids enjoyed it so that was not bad.

Would highly recommend these apartments to anyone who wants a relaxed holiday with things for the kids. Can't comment on the kids club as my girlfriends son was not interested in it. But they had constant activities and the kids seemed to really enjoy it.

The surrounding area was a Spanish estate, although it was a nice quite area and the locals were very pleasant. The beach and shops were a good 20 minute walk away and the nearest hypermarket was 15 minutes walk (There are 2 supermarkets on site which are very reasonable). The walk to the beach is covered by the "Bouganvilla Train" which is a free train journey that will take you straight to the beach and shops and pick you up every half hour! Driver is very friendly and approachable!

All in all a great family holiday which is well worth a visit!

Bad Points

The only bad point in the whole holiday is the lack of sun loungers. People were putting towels on the loungers and not using them all day. Dads were sleeping on them to ensure they got one the next day. So if you want one you have to get up at about 05:30 - 06:00 to have a chance! And who said the Germans were bad!!!!
