Good Points

Simply magn fico, an awe inspiring sporting arena. Good transport links. The Camp Nou incorporates a charming museum too. Brilliant

Bad Points

If you go to watch a Barcelona match and your are an Englishman accompanied with English male friends, you can be branded as a hooligan despite not having any previous crimes of a violent nature. Your departure from the stadium can involve running the gauntlet of hate from Spanish males who appear very eager to instigate major fracas. The ability to "leg off" will stand you in good fettle. I had my Adidas Gazelle's on, no worries.

General Comments

The Nou Camp (new field) in Barcelona is the largest football stadium in Europe with a capacity of 98,787. The spectacular views and atmosphere created within the Nou Camp is simply amazing. Home to Barcelona FC the stadium was built 1957. The site incorporates many other sporting facilities, opposite the Camp Nou is the Palau Blaugrana which is home to indoor sporting activities and adjacent to this building is the Ice Rink, located behind the Nou Camp is the "mini estadi" with a capacity of 15,276, this is home to Barcelona B, Barcelona C and other junior teams, the Andorran national side also host their matches at the "mini estadi". I would recommend a visit to the Nou Camp to anyone, it is mint. The guided tour is quality and you get to look at plenty of stuff behind the scenes like and the museum is class. Remember to pack your fastest trainers if you are going to a night game and deploy added vigilance towards derby matches.
