General Comments
Before I started to use the 8850, I thought it looked pretty smooth with its modern aluminium cover, but as usage started, I relised that looks aren't everything. The Nokia website promises 'calls when you speak' but even if you shout when you are setting the voicetags, it comes out almost silent. The games can be addictive and fun as you play whilst sitting at the busstop, but they cannot compare to the likes of the 3410 and Space Impact. When you are speaking, there is an echo, which gets TERRIBLY annoying. The text messages are also messed up by the fact that if you press 1 three times (for C) then the word 'cab' appears. continue to press 1 and 'Cabba?' will appear. therefore you have to go to 'insert word' a few menus in to send a text. What is good about the 8850 though, is what is does well, it does VERY well. A very soso phone.

The reason why you're having problemns with texting is because 8850 and all new phone come with Predictive texting meaning it can predict what you're saying. Read the manual to understand how it works!!!!!!
