General Comments

I have to admit I am biased towards this BSA Standard No2 Model rifle. My dad was walking across a field in 1924 at the age of 16 when an air-gun pellet whizzed past his ear. When he looked for the source the lad who fired it was 50 yards or more away. His instant thought was "Got to have one of those!". He bought one, it helped to feed the family with rabbits, after the war, and I used it a lot as a lad. (Tried shooting at the pegs on the clothes line 2 doors up, once and got told off a bit when their washing went in and the babies nappies were full of holes.) Anyway, inherited it when dad passed away and still have it now. It still packs a punch although it now has a more modern and hence less powerful spring.

I too had one of these as a lad in 1950 and would dearly love to own one again, any one got one for sale?
