General Comments

I wasn't that sure at first whether to buy these Babyliss Pro Porcelain Straighteners or not, because I have used a few Babyliss Straighteners in the past and they have all been rubbish, but I still went for it, reasons being are as follows:

Not available in the high street shops

Reach 220 degrees making them hotter than ghd

Porcelain plates a new technology

Variable temperature settings

I shampooed and conditioned my hair. I let my hair dry naturally. I turned the straightener on. I put it on the highest setting as I have really thick coarse hair. The straightener heats up immediately so there is no time wasting. When switched on the light starts flashing straightaway and when it reaches the optimum temperature the light remains on until you have finished. I sectioned my hair properly. I then sprayed my hair with a straightening spray which is essential if you do not want to damage your hair from the intense heat of the irons. I took a section of hair no longer than 2cm. I started straightening it and I was amazed with the results, one swipe and my hair was turned from dry and thick to sleek perfection. I couldn't believe it. It took me 30 minutes to straighten my hair fully and I was left with silky straight hair. The next morning when I woke up my hair looked the same like it did when I had straightened it the night before. I was well shocked. At last I found a straightener which really works. I'm so happy with it, I wont know what I will do with out it.

People, if you are thinking of buying a straightener, look no further, this is it. Trust me. It will even straighten Afro Caribbean hair.
