Sales people at the Cathy Jean Shoes Stores need to be trained on how to handle unsatisfied and angry customers instead of aggravating the situation and making the customer even more upset.
I purchased a pair of high heel shoes at the Montebello Town Center Cathy Jean Shoe Store. I wore the shoes for 2-3 hours and they were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I had ever purchased. I tried contacting the store but the phone number listed on the receipt and in the yellow pages were non-working numbers.
I went to the store to see if I can exchange for something else only to be told there is nothing they can do because I've worn the shoes and "that was their policy". How is a customer supposed to know comfort if they don't walk in them?? I spent $75 on a pair of shoes that is a complete waste! I own and wear many high heeled shoes and the Cathy Jean shoes were the most uncomfortable I have every purchased!!
I stood at the entrance of the store and told every customer walking into the store exactly how I felt about the store and the service.
I was given a corporate customer service phone number to contact. which was a wrong. There is no phone number listed on their website for customer service or corporate office for complaints.
