Good Points

When the Magellan RoadMate 700 system is working it is exceptionally quick and very accurate. However, two complete units have been returned - both having failed after six months.


Bad Points

Two units have failed after six months. After sales service is utterly appalling. Impossible to speak to anyone about particular problems, all correspondence has to be via e-mail. Inordinate delays in getting units returned.


General Comments

I could not recommend the Magellan 700 series, despite the fact that for a short period it was an impressive system which worked equally well in the UK and throughout Europe.
