Good Points

TV is excellent value for money and has a superb specification for the price of £999.00. It comes with a Desktop Stand and a wall mount is available from the customer helpline at £39.00. Inputs include VGA, HDMI and 2 Scarts, as well as S-Video and Video. A 3 year warranty is also included at no extra charge. Speakers are detachable and can be positioned separately!


Bad Points

The processor takes its time to scroll through the 7 inputs, each takes a couple of seconds to switch over.

Unfortunately my unit's panel broke 15 minutes after installation: Half of it is dark.


General Comments

Contacting the Medion Helpline was somewhat difficult but after a call into ALDI head office it worked. The lady was trying her best and rattled down a number of questions but after insisting accepted that the unit was faulty. An engineer would be sent out within a few days. Again, unacceptable to me. When you spend a grand on a TV you want to use it!

If you get a unit that works it's fantastic value for money!
