I used one of 2U Mobile Phone Insurance's sub-sites (www.betterdeals.2u.co.uk) as it had a direct link for the insurance. The site was a little busy. There were lots of other things of interest on the site. I even got my PDA covered too, as you can never be too careful.

    Another Insurance site that proclaims: "Why pay up to £1,000 to replace your phone", when most people realise that most phones sold cost up to £100 or between £100 and £200 (with a small proportion over £200)? How many cost £1000 (they don't tell you of course!). Sounds like another Insurance Company raking in the business with monthly premiums of up to £10 per month; thats £120 each and every year!). Does that make sense? Why are premiums so extortionately high? It's sounds similar to the pressurised selling of Warranties for TVs, washing machines etc. Shop around!

    Too right. You do have to shop around for mobile phone insurance.

    The cover that 2U give you is far better than most though.

    A lot of firms don't give you accidental damage.

    Cheaper doesn't always mean better...
