Branch staff are OK.
The call centre is an absolute nightmare, and they don't speak very good English.
Charges on the HSBC Business Bank Account are high after the free banking runs out. I wanted to switch to their Business Direct account which is free, and I had so much trouble getting through to them. I went to the branch, and they said I could do this switch online. I tried that, and the online system said I had to phone, so I called and spoke to 3 different people, before being told to visit the branch again.
I shall be transferring my account to another bank.
