Good Points

cheap and cheerful

Bad Points

battery charge life and intermitant battery display (does this mean my sim is about to be zapped? it is how the last one went!) also
'Contact your dealer' message which means they've zapped your sim and then the faulty phone diagnosis and O2 to Philips runaround when Philips confirm it's a Network fault and O2 then state clearly and catagoricly that it's a Software problem created by O2.
Philips actually stated that O2 had ordered them NOT to fix these faults, after all they're not really faulty are they O2? or else why would you offer me an O2 card and gaurantee it would work in my faulty C12???????

General Comments

One out three still working despite the latest scam by O2 to systematicly remove these 'free phone number' dinosaurs from the airwaves.
Surely they can't be costing that much to the system?
Wonder how long the last one will go for?
Anyone else been zapped by the O2 'tarrif update' specialists?
Value for money and Overall rating values given for un-zapped sim card, working models and reception in the Welsh hills is excellent.
Shame we're being wiped out:[

my phone has had 'contact your dealer' on the sreen 5 times now. Each time i send it to France where it gets 'fixed' ( reprogrammed for another set amount of call time) and comes back as new!Does anyone know of a way to get the SIM deprogrammed from the original handset? It costs £60 to fix, but because my friend all have them, it is worth it at 5p a min anytime.
