Real Audio
Lower price then Acoustic Energy
Good quality speaker, clock, and alarm
Cool design
No German DIN mains plug included
No external antenna socket
No battery
No USB for recording or playing
Rotary dial for station selection cumbersome
Only 10 station preset buttons (list of preferred stations in station selection would be better)
Compared to other internet radios (Allnet Allsound, Philips SLA5520, Terratec Noxon 2), the Magicbox IMP will not only play MP3 and Media Player, but also Real Audio streams (as does Acoustic Energy). So you can listen to BBC Radio 4 online or on demand.
