Under estimated styling. Good load carrying ability. Fantastic traction in all weather. Whilst travelling through Europe two years ago we encountered 5 or so inches of snow on compacted ice, no problem for the Quattro system.
I had a front drive shaft boot fail me when the car had covered 30 miles, a buckled front wheel (never been curbed) encountered on the M25 in a pot hole! Front suspension coil spring sheared at 60,000 miles.
The Audi S3 Quattro 225 PS is a generally well put together car. I had the BHP increased to 290BHP at 25,000 miles and have currently covered 65,000 miles. Fuel consumption is very good as I don't use the power very often so I tend to get 35-39MPG.
Would I buy another Audi - yes - but for now I'm quite happy.
