Good Points

Loving, loyal, playful and energetic but equally happy lazing about as long as they are near your side. Have a handsome otter like face with soulful eyes and real character. Simply the most fantastic breed of dog you could ever find.


Bad Points

Loves to stop and sniff everything and may huff the ladies as they tend to love their dad more than anyone else in the family.


General Comments

Our family and home would not be complete without our Border Terrier. He's very sociable, loves everybody and most other dogs and is great with children. He loves to be by my side or at least near me at all times. Always up for a long walk, particularly the beach. Loves to play and still has a mad half hour every day which always makes us smile. Borders are never aggressive with people but are excellent little guard dogs who fear nothing. They have real feelings and will go in a huff if they're not happy with you. If you want a dog to be part of your family a Border is perfect.
