Good Points

Used to be a good computer components and peripherals store. Have deteriorated into a computer come cheap Chinese gift shop selling cheap gadgets, household goods, girl's gifts, underwear, mobile phones.


Bad Points

1.) Very bad customer service
2.) Bad returns and refunds policy
3.) Ebuyer are just as good on pricing and better on support


General Comments

Have been purchasing off Aria for more than 5 years until recently when I had a string of problems receiving refunds for damaged products and getting charged restocking fees of 25% for something which they wouldn't acknowledge being there error. Two of a longer list below:-

Purchased a midi system - looked second hand, tatty box, scratched casing and non working speaker, sent this back, received another even worse all scratched hadn't been checked over, looked like a refurbished item, but was being sold as new, I got a refund on a newer reduced price and they refused to pay my charges for postage, so lost a fair bit of cash for there errors.

Purchased 2 x SATA 200GB hard disk drives and a motherboard, couldn't get them to work correctly, phoned the hard drive manufacturer who told me there was an issue with them not working with a whole range of motherboards, sent back to aria to swap for another make, they refused rudely and charged me a 25% restocking fees.

I have spent thousands of pounds buying components from aria in the past, if you make a purchase there small or large don't expect an easy replacement if there are problems, go to ebuyer they have improved drastically and provide a very easy to submit and quick returns procedures if you have problems.
