Good Points
It's the only pub for about 2 miles in either direction.
Bad Points
The service is non-existent at best, the food is expensive for the area, one of the bars has the overwhelming smell of stale beer.
General Comments
The service in The Boat Inn pub and restaurant is rude to the point where it's just best to leave rather than suffer the frustration of trying to get anywhere with them. The food is expensive for the Welsh borders (£9 for a veggie bake). One of the bars has the most revolting smell of stale beer. Overall it's not worth going there. I would recommend visiting one of the pubs a couple of miles in either direction, as you will get service, food and drink in a pleasant atmosphere, which is unlikely to happen here.
