'Hello'
'Some might say' that these albums are arguably the best Indie rock songs ever to have been made by Oasis. 'Definately Maybe' is probably my response, and those of you now who are 'married with children' will also be in agreement with me; as this music when listenend to with a few 'cigarettes & alcohol' will remind us of our younger years when we thought that we would 'live forever'. This cd reminds me of my youthful days at college back in the mid 90's where I would arise everyday to 'morning glory' poking through the bedroom curtains. Have you seen Liams lass...'shes electric' my mates would say at college, when sat in the common room reading through our literature notes, newspapers & viz comics - this would attract the attention from the jocks who thought that Indie groups and especially people who listenend to Indie music at that time where weird little scruffy people who gathered together after college and sang 'the swamp song' outside bonzo's house.
I honestly cannot think of anything bad about this cd, and would not want to comment anything further in this section that would 'cast a shadow' over the good points section of this review and 'slide away' the audiences attention, but 'hey now' - a review needs to have at least some negative points to give a fair opinion to its intended audience; so in all fairness the song 'champagne supernova' is probably a little too long to be completely truthful - but in all honesty the lyrics I would put them right 'up in the sky' with the best of them (Beatles, Led Zepplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Girls Aloud).
When 'wonderwall' first hit the charts back in the mid 90's it went straight into the top ten at a 'supersonic' speed. It was at a time when people with stupid bod haircuts and Burberry jackets where considered as the muppets of society (me being one of them) - however these 'rock & roll stars' released this song which turned the muppets of our society into educated, thoughtful & well respected thinkers that 'don't look back in anger' at our former peers. The mass of college students who passed their A-Levels during the mid 90's can relate to Oasis and can now 'roll with it' ('it' being life in general). Whenever I play 'digsy's dinner' my pet dog (called digsy) knows its dog food time and scampers into the living room holding his little bowl starring right at me, 'bring it on down' here digsy I usually say before filling his bowl up with tripe from doggy market.
I think its absolutely imperative to go and purchase these cd's if you haven't already done so.
