The battery life is excellent. Menu system on my Fuji Finepix F10 is easy enough with a little practise. Still picture Memo recoding is useful. Changing picture quality anywhere from 6M fine right down to 0.3M is easy. Fast start up. Low light picture quality is amazing. Video in both high and low resolution looks fine on a TV screen, although you will need a much bigger capacity xD card than the 16Mb supplied. Charging and downloading is messy with various cables lying around. Battery can fall out when changing xD card - just keep the thing inverted! No optical viewfinder, although the brightness of the view-screen can easily be increased to cope with sunny conditions. My Fuji Finepix F10 cost £145 from Amazon, which is pretty good. A month later, Jessops offered the F11 for £150! It has a better view-screen and more manual controls, although my camera does almost everything I need using the 'auto' and 'mode' settings.

The build quality seems very good, and I am very pleased with the camera, so far.
