Rubbish Shaft is completely uncomtrollable
Face dints easily

General Comments

Appalling golf club - although if you fit a reel to the grip, the shaft is whippy enough to mak a good fishing rod.

DON'T BUY CHEAP GOLF EQUIPMENT

completely disagree. I am 6 handicap approaching the age of 60. I have the 5 wood and a 9 wood, the latter originally bought for my wife. It plays somewhere between 3 and 4 iron, carrying about 180-190 yards. maybe it's my age, but I can't get 3 or 4 irons that distance and landing softly.

the reviewer may be a much better player than I am, and I haven't tried the driver, but these utility woods are a boon to the aging golfer.

the Driver is great value for money as are all of the clubs, although today 26 06 03 I used my 2 year old 5 wood off the fairway and the shaft snapped clean an half just below the grip.I only hit the ball and not the ground,my partner was a tad unhappy as at nearly took his head off in the process, what do you want for a tenner.

Chances are that "Happy Hacker" is just that, and probably won't be able to control any shaft whatsoever.

However, in all seriousness, he probably had the light flex shaft, and they are very flexible. You could wind it twice round your neck, just on the backswing.

Donnay sells about 1 million clubs a year, and well......all those ecstatic golfers certainly outweigh one unhappy hacker
