Good Points

Very Clear Pictures, Ease of transferring pictures to computer.


Bad Points

Takes too long for camera to focus. Takes too long between shots. Hard to find rechargeable battery packs. On/Off switch malfunctions. Shuts off very frequently.(Even when taking pictures).


General Comments

My Kodak EasyShare cx4230 takes great pictures. It is very easy to share pictures to computer and to email. Camera has a nice attractive body.
The camera shuts off almost constantly while using it though. I thought it was the battery, but I purchased a new Ni Mh battery pack designed for the camera and it still shuts off. It is in the shop now getting repaired. (still under warranty). Camera started doing this shut down thing when it was only 3 months old.
ANother dislike I have with the camera, the batteries don't last any time at all. First rechargeable battery pack I had only lasted about 1 month. THe original battery that came with the camera lasted three times as long as the Rechargeable on I purchased later. I just purchased another rechargeable battery, and I hope it lasts longer than the first.
As far as satisfaction goes, I am very satisfied with the quality of the picture it takes and the ease of transferring pictures to computer. I am not satisfied with the shortness of battery life, and also not satisfied with the on/off switch going bad so soon. I would not recommend anyone to buy this camera. Do your homework and get one that does not have the slider switch on front like this one does.
