Often mail out bonus points incentive vouchers.
Unable to claim points from previous receipts.
The usual 1 point for every £1 spend at M&S, 1 point for every £2 spend elsewhere. 100 points equivalent to £1 cash discount voucher. The loyalty scheme is attached to your &MORE credit card, which is not a bad feature that you do not have to carry extra card. However if you did not pay by your &MORE credit card (e.g., cash or other credit card), you will not be able to claim the points back later like some other loyalty cards.
Statements with reward vouchers arrive quarterly, often came with double-point or triple-point vouchers, or extra 300 or 400 points with certain minimum purchases.
