General Comments

Brought the Yamada D2100 to replace my Wharfedale M5. Its a decent enought player, nice picture and boots everything the M5 can't.
But whats really annoying is the sound quality.
Sound is hollow and lacking in base even Phantom Menace sounded Dull in this machine. Shoved in the New Die another Day Region1 dvd which was okay in 5.1 when i switched to DTS there was a silence..! were in my old player DTS is blasting due to the on board decoding of the M5.
This was a suprise to me because the machine had DTS plastered all over it.
But for £50 U can't call it a bad machine for a 2nd machine its a must buy, but for a main event this machine is slack.
Buy it for your home made vcdz/svcdz or Dvd-r it will also play mp3/Jpegs and Kodaks so is ideal for holiday snaps.
