Great looks
Trigger springs prone to breakage (may be my gun only).
Bought my (very second hand) 1957 Airsporter for £3 when I was 14 years old (40 years ago). Have put tens of thousands of rounds through it. Very accurate with the open sights. I am convinced that my accuracy began to suffer as I got more guns. When I only had the Airsporter I got so used to it that I hardly used the sights at all - it was practically an extension of my arm. As a result I was the scourge of the local vermin populations. Have had it out again recently and it's as good as ever! If you have the chance to get one from that period, go for it!!
