Good Points

Location perfect, right on a lovely beach, and only a few minutes walk into the village
Nice rooms, friendly staff and good facilities


Bad Points

Sun bed issue as usual. We were told that sun beds could not be reserved before 9am and that any towels found before that time would be removed, but this was not the case. There has to be a better way of allocating for example 2 sun beds per apartment. Not all of us want to wake up early and rush down to the pool.
No other problems, lovely hotel.


General Comments

We have just returned from a week at Alykanas beach village and had a great holiday. It is perfect if you like the beach, only a few steps down from the pool and you are on a lovely beach. The hotel was clean and has good facilities, the rooms are good, beds a little on the hard side but acceptable,
The resort has just the right amount of bars and taverns, not too noisy but not too quiet. WE liked the Poseidon restaurant, but also Greedy Greek although that one is a little more expensive.
The Greek evening at the hotel on a Monday evening is fun and worth going to. Not too much entertainment at the hotel, but we didn't find it a problem. Just be aware that the prices of drinks at the hotel are fairly expensive, and the mini market on site is also more expensive that other supermarkets, although we did use the mini market, it was convenient.
All in all a very good place to go, I would recommend it to a friend and would definitely go back.
