Good Points

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Friendly, very helpful staff speaking excellent English. Lots to do in the hotel. Nice garden with good views to sit in. Wonderful food.


Bad Points

Hotel is next to a busy road junction, so rooms in the front of the hotel suffer from a lot of traffic noise when the windows are open. There isn't any air conditioning or fans, so you have to put up with the noise or get very hot if you have a room with a mountain view in the summer.


General Comments

St Gilgen is a lovely place with several cafes serving wonderful cakes and ice cream. The Hotel is only a few minutes walk a way from the centre of St. Gilgen and there is plenty to do there, as well as being handy to Salzberg. We had a wonderful holiday there and it was very relaxing. Would certainly go back to the same hotel.
