Bad Points

The investment performance of the High Equity WP Fund since conversion in June 1999 has been appalling. At their behest I switched from With Profit Endowment to the High Equity WP Fund. the value on switch was £12,111. Since then contributions paid in to this fund have been £4,865. The fund value now is £16,863. So the growth in value has not even been enough to cover the 5% bid-offer spread on contributions paid in.


General Comments

The current annual bonus rate on the High Equity WP fund is .25%. Therefore it will take getting on for 20 years just to cover the bid offer spread on contributions paid in! Scarcely attractive!
