Good Points

OUTBOUND FLIGHT - We travelled from Norwich Airport, arrived 3 hours ahead of flight time, had a quick easy check-in and the flight was good. Transfer from Palma was streamlined too. Hotel reception were efficient and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
ROOMS - Our rooms (419 &420) had a balcony overlooking the pool but the other side overlooked the small road and nearby hotel - maid service was excellent.
FOOD - good choice and drinks too - all-inclusive so we saved a packet with 4 children - 11-16 who can eat and drink for England.
POOL - Hotel pool was quite cold but a welcome relief when you're hot. It didn't get overcrowded here either - but as usual lots of people hurried to put towels on sunbeds as soon as the doors opened - it looked like the January sales from our balcony.
RESORT - Plenty of shops, not overpriced and helpful - pays to shop around though, plenty of eating and drinking places if you want a night out - we didn't bother as all was good at the hotel.
BEACH - Beach was only 5 minutes away, had to cross quite busy road but there are crossings. Beach was beautiful and clean and the sea was clear but very salty. Beach has banana boat, donut, parascending rides, fruit sellers -we didn't buy as told not too but many people did, and it looked delicious.
EXCURSIONS - We went on a boat trip and could view under the sea - very good value for money - 2 hours at 16 euros an adult (over 12) and 8 euros under. It worked out at 56 euros altogether which equates to about £38. Old Alcudia is lovely and I would spend more time looking around if I go again. You can also hire out bikes like the Chuckle Brothers have and do a bit of sightseeing which cost around 10 euros for 1-2 hours, but again shop around for he best bargains.
WEATHER - Weather brilliant - you need plenty of suncream, sunglasses and I would recommend a hat.
RETURN FLIGHT - The return flight was good too with no hiccups at all. The queues for other airport destinations like Gatwick and Heathrow were huge, it was nice to sail through the Norwich one.

Bad Points

Don't go to Burger King if you fancy a snack late at night unless you don't mind getting the wrong order.
The in-flight complimentary meal is not good but edible if you're hungry.

General Comments

A fantastic holiday - plenty to do if you want, relax on the beach or at the pool - rooms air conditioned if you need a siesta and English TV too plus Sky News so you can watch the awful weather at home and feel GOOD!!!!
Kids club looked good - ours too old but plenty of others joined in.
Hotel entertainment team very good and put on some good shows.
Overall 10/10 for everything.
We now have the bug to start saving and go again.
