Good Points

Having travelled around to other countries and hotels, I will give you my opinion of this resort.

Do go if:
1. you like meeting lots of English
2. You are a family & have kids (aged 1-15 years old)
3. Like sitting around the pool
3. You are not expecting high standards of accommodation
4. You like a good choice of food
5. Expect rooms that are air conditioned (& needed) free only if you are with Thompson holidays


Bad Points

Don't go if:
1. You are expecting 4 star luxury (probably 2 star at best)
2. You are a couple wanting a romantic/quiet holiday
3. Expect good entertainment (bingo every night)
4. Expect good drinks - either watered down or too sweet, most are restricted and you must pay for others
5. You want a 2 week holiday - 1 week is enough!!!
6. Don't want to get up early to reserve a sunbed
7. Traditional Cyprian food
8. Want to be near a town/shops


General Comments

Overall, our family enjoyed our holiday. We hired a car. Cyprus is a lovely island, but Pafian Sun Village was let down by the cheap drinks and restrictions on ice creams and milkshakes etc., and also the poor entertainment.

Do not go for more than week!! And chill out!
