Astonishing musical performances, and fantastic music
Thrilling stage creations and visuals
Heart warming, inspirational story
Audience is time warped - you are really there
Second act isn't as good as the first (but still fantastic)
Awkward opening sequence (French rapper doing "Oh What a Night")
I didn't grow up in that era. I'm 34 years old. I've only seen two other Broadway shows - Tommy, and Phantom. I was blown away by Phantom, and I loved Tommy. But Jersey Boys, New York rivals both of them by far. You leave the theatre overwhelmed. Absolutely fantastic. I can't say much more than that. Oh, and also, you feel really good for the guys. I mean the actors themselves. You are happy for them and their big debut. You can easily see that they make the most of their big break. When the audience roars, you can't help but feel great for these guys. Unbelievable talent - I hope they all become big stars.
