Good Points

DVD player and re-writer
Good value
Windows XP


Bad Points

The casing scratches easily
The buttons sometimes fall off
It gets quite hot when it's been on for a while
I think something broke inside. PC World fixed it, but I don't know what it was. They replaced something (MBD but I don't know what that stands for)
The mouse sometimes doesn't work
It doesn't come with office installed


General Comments

The Advent 7081 laptop does have some flaws, but it is cheap, and I don't see the point of having a huge hard drive when all I want to do with a computer is store some music on it. It play the Sims 2 game, and I do work for uni on it, but I would recommend insurance if the shop offers it. It's excellent, considering the price (£399.99). Go and buy one!

    Does the fact that the keys fall off the Advent 7081 laptop not make you think it's a bad / cheaply made computer?
