Good Points

Macrovision not disabled

Bad Points

not a big brand name

General Comments

I was a bit uncertain when I bought the Logix DVD3000. Unfortunately it had recieved a lot of bad reviews from various sources. I believe this to be because it is not a top brand name and no one seems brave enough to say so.
It plays DVDs better than most in its price range and its mp3 player certainly isn't bad. Many reviews mention that the sound is not good. This is not true. A lot depends of the amplifier you use and the speakers that you plug the sound through and of course you hearing !

Pictures are clear, sound is good - it's a very good budget machine !

The sound on the Logix 3000 is excellent. My friend has a 400 pound Philips DVD player connected to a Sony Cinema System and yet he has admitted that my Logix coupled with a Cambridge Soundworks home cinema system has a better sound output.
