The HW57 is a little heavy, I noticed this when I replaced my tuned 12 year old supersport because it was getting a little loose on the break barrel. You do get used to the weight of the HW57. This is by far outweighed by the performance, accuracy and feel of this rifle, it is amazing. I use the rifle at weekends for ratting down the local farm and hand on my heart its my best friend and has never let me down. It really is the best a springer can get.
