Good Points

It's quite cheap for the amount of space you're given, and when compared with the iPod this seems like the more sensible choice. I bought it for £109.99, and it can hold up to 1500 songs.
It's also quite small and light, and very easy to carry around.

Bad Points

The program included in the box (Musicmatch) is absolutely terrible.
The headphones fit snugly in your ear. However, they are made of white rubber, and I found that they got dirty very quickly. The rubber parts also fall off and I have lost both since purchasing my MP3 player.

General Comments

The Philips HDD065 MP3 player itself is not bad at all. However, the act of putting songs on it is a different story altogether. On average I would say it takes around 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes to send 1 album to the MP3 player! The program doesn't seem to recognise that I am connected to the Internet. Therefore, it will not name my songs and albums automatically, so I have to do it myself. This would be tolerable, but as well as this, when the songs are being sent to my MP3 player, it won't recognise the names that I've put in, so I have to rename them again. This is what takes up all the time, and for this reason I have only filled a relatively small amount of the space I purchased.

Up until a few weeks ago I was willing to put up with this on the basis that I do not a have a lot of money to buy a new player, and also because I think it would be very difficult to sell on to someone else. However, the program now will not recognise my MP3 player when it is plugged in, and it can only suggest that I "download a plug-in". I can not count the amount of times I have downloaded the same plug-in, only to be told the same thing again. I would never recommend this product to anyone. In fact, I am going to buy an iPod as soon as I figure out what to do with this MP3 player! They might cost more, but at least you can put songs on them.
