Good Points

0% Interest on Purchases and Balance Transfers until May 2007, and 0% on Balance Transfers until July 2008 if transfer made in the Month of July 2007.

Bad Points

None I have come across yet, apart from the low credit limit.

General Comments

The Mint credit card seems to be a good card. I came across Mint by seeing the excellent adverts on TV. I'm not the sort of person who really likes to wait around after posting off applications to see whether I have been accepted or not. I went to the Mint website to apply for one of their cards, as they give you an instant decision within 60 seconds. I filled in all the usual details etc., and I hit submit at the end. Waiting for the page to flick over, I was very surprised when it said application status: APPROVED. I nearly passed out. I mean, I don't have the best credit history. In fact, it's far from good. The website then gives you the option to print out the credit agreement (if you have a printer) and post it back to their freepost address. I decided to do this, as I knew it would speed things up.

All in all, the process is simple and fast. I applied on the 8th of August, and by the 17th I have my new Mint card and the PIN number. You have to call to activate your card, and the security is tight, which I suppose is good. The only bad thing is that I got a low credit limit to start off with, but I guess this is due to my credit rating been quite poor. I'll definitely be sticking with this card and my Capital One Visa will go in the bin where it belongs.

Mint will charge you if you don't pay on time. And they aren't keeping customers fully informed of changes in policy regarding late charges etc.
