Good Points

Very Cheap digi cam

has a flash

you can throw it againt the wall and the floor and it will still work perectly (and you WILL throw it againt the wall when it is upsetting you!)

If you run out of batteries, you can use antyhing between 4V and 15V to connect it to (but theres only the 9V-Battery connector, you will need an adapter)

You can use the Software to capture multiple pictures from any Twain source.

Pictures don'T get lost when changing the battery (most other cameras in this priceclass DO lose them)

Bad Points

It is almost impossible to install it onto a windows xp-system. You can find a list on the internet with 23 thing you must do to archive it, and without that list, you're lost. Sorry that i actually dont have the url of it.

The camera takes a long time to take the picture: About 1/4 second that you must hold it without vibration to get a sharp picture (other cameras only take 1/1000 second!), and about 4 seconds until you can take the next picture (the build-in flashlight needs about 15 seconds to reload).

Pictures are stored on a MMC-Card, but you cant read that card with a card-reader because it's a non-standart format.

Also, you cannont combine other media on the card (e.g. mp3) with pictures, the camera deletes all other data when inserting the card)

Reading the pictures into the computer takes very long (about 3 seconds per picture, but it's only 640x480) and your computer needs to have about 10 times more RAM than the MMC has. If it has not, your computer will crash. Virtual RAM (the one on the HDD) is also suitable.

Sometimes the camera just doesn't want you to take a picture, then it just takes a trahpicture with nothing inside. This happens to about 3% of the pictures taken, so bette take two pictures of something that you really like to see later in a photo.

There is no support and since some months, there isn't even a official page to download the drivers.

When connected to the USB-Port, it doesn't use the usb power. Loading a picture from the camera to the pc takes about 5 times more battery power than making that picture with flashlight enabled.

You cannot define a specific folder for image saving

You cannon delete a single picture, but all pictures.

Serial (com port) data transmission is so slow that you could better take a pencil and draw it instead of taking a photo. (takes about 40 secons for one picture) Only use it with USB!

General Comments

Well...

This seems to be a piece of rubbish. It's pherhaps the worst camera you can buy. But anyway, i'm a flexible person, i got used to those things, i've taken thousand of nice pictures with it, i'm still using it and i love that piece of rubbish.

I agree with all the comments. I can't complain because it was free, and allows me to produce jpg files for net and email. I also use it as a (not so) quick and dirty way to get reference images for my art work. I am about to install it on my new xp system and am looking for all help. I have time and no money.
