Good Points

This is a really hard hitting rifle that gets 1000 fps with Beeman Silver bears and puts them into 1 hole at 10 M after you learn how to shoot it. It is heavy, like a police tactical rifle, and feels solid as one. The wood is clean and well executed as is the exterior metal work. I can't believe you can get this much rifle for $120 - $135. As much as I like my rifle, for reasons stated below, if I had it to do over again I would be buying the B-30.

Bad Points

I don't like the extendable cocking lever as I don't use the extension and it rattles around. This is not a rifle one would take on an extended walk through the woods, but I don't like my shooters to rattle period. That is my biggest gripe. For $10 more, I would rather have the B-30 with the fixed cocking lever and better finished working parts and even more power. The recoil on this gun is harsh, it took some time to finally get the scope to stay put - the front sight also takes a beating and works lose - I finally just took it off. The recoil improves over about 1000 pellets, things seem to smooth out. I have not yet performed a trigger polishing, so there is still a bit of creep in the trigger that doesn't seem to adjust out.

General Comments

This is a great rifle. You will need a scope to maximize its power and accuracy potential, so make sure you get a one piece scope base and make sure everything is really tight. Make a small tick mark with a grease pen or pencil or whatever so you can tell if you are starting to get slippage of the scope base. Don't get mad if your groups are much bigger than you read about, this is a hard gun to master but nothing a little practice won't cure.
