Very accurate.
Very good workmanship.
Classic design.
Good overall handling.
Low recoil.
None so far.
I bought this BSA Superstar Mk2 .22 Cal. new from Quality Sporting Arms a month ago and after
shooting some 3000 pellets with it I can only say that I am very pleased with this rifle.
Fitted with a Hawke Varmint 8X32X42 scope on a
one-piece Sportsmount with built arrestor pin
it is very accurate. On a target range of 30 yards I get 12 mm CTC groupings. The two-way
trigger works very well and is in the same class
as for example the Rekord-Match from Weihrauch.
The pellet loading port takes some time to get used to, but works wonderfully.
The blueing on the rifle is of the highest standards. The Monte Carlo stock has a nice even figure in it, and the action is held in place in
the stock by the use of Allen-type bolts, wich I
prefer over the normally used blade-slotted bolts. As I use this rifle in Field Target competition (spring class) I have added a leather
Cobra sling with swivels.
The best results I get with Daystate FT (JSB)
pellets (16 Grain).
As an owner of several air-rifles I was always
biassed towards German-made airrifles but after
getting the Superstar I can tell you that the next airrifle I buy will also be a BSA!
