Good Points

Some of the drivers will go out of their way to be helpful - even though First's policies discourage it.


Bad Points

In the last week, I've been the victim of two driveoffs, seen a third, had buses come more than 5 minutes early past a stop and more than 15 minutes late repeatedly, and had two buses completely MIA - and that's only on one route, used daily. Oh, and one bus breakdown, but luckily during peak hours so the next bus could collect the passengers soon. I've faced sullen drivers, abrupt starts knocking people off their feet, and routes with long distances between stops so that passengers are likely to have a fair walk - this is hospital routes, likely to have elderly or ill passengers on them.


General Comments

I got a First annual pass, and I will never do so again - when it expires, I plan to buy a bicycle. I've found the 26/27 and 21/22 routes particularly unreliable, with roughly 30% odds that I will end up forced to walk no matter how hard I try to catch the evening buses. A few kindly drivers cannot compensate for the overall uselessness of this service.
