We ate at The GlassHouse Restaurant, Saturday 12th August, for an evening meal.

The restaurant had a picturesque setting on a stream, close by car parking and is a grade 2 listed building dated from the 15th century. The interior decorating was modern but had kept the traditional features such as beams and has a large glass frontage which gave lots of character.

Food was excellent and cooked to perfection! Tortillas and the salsa dip was beautiful! We personally found the menu of limited choice but I think we would have loved all the courses that we may have choose.

The service was very good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Waiting time between courses was spot on despite them being busy.

The Menu states that Gordon Ramsey had been at The Glasshouse for a week of coaching a couple of years ago. Gordon's influence has obviously worked wonders and is still making them a very successful high standard restaurant.
