I have banked with the Halifax for 5 years, and all I can say is it is the worst bank I have ever known. They have hammered my account with charges for the last year - nearly £900 pounds! I have made enquires, and I have decided to proceed with a claim for these charges in the small claims court. So for the many times Halifax has put me in debt, I can now do something about it according to the OFT.
