1. Competitive Price (try buying remanufactured from airgunstore.com - $45)
2. Accurate (2.5 inch groups at 10 yards)
3. Doesn't look like cheap or plastic
4. nice size and weight
5. 8 shot clip is fun
1. Uses excess CO2. A 12g CO2 cartridge will last about 25 shots.
2. Velocity on shots will run out fast
The crosman 1008B air pistol is an excellent buy. It works in double action with a single trigger pull both cocking the hammer and releasing it. The 1008B in single action by manually cocking the hammer back with your thumb and releasing it by pulling the trigger.
The only other pistol I have to reference the 1008B against is the Crosman 2210SB. The 1008B is more fun to shoot, more pleasing to the eye, more accurate, but less powerful.
