Easy to use once installed - just plug it in and leave it.
Works with all the VHS and DVD's I have in my collection.
Lots of inputs / outputs (composite, SVHS, scart)
Bad Points
Instructions could be clearer - needs the VICE lead connector to the player and the RECORDER connected to the VICE socket
General Comments
The Vice 1000 video capture unit is a nicely built little unit, and it is certainly good value for money. Picture quality is excellent - certainly as good as the MacroMaster and MacroBuster products I have tried, possibly slightly better on some sources due to the RGB fully wired SCART.
Instructions are a bit vague; I connected it the wrong way round and only got sound (no picture) but a quick call to www.hit-it.co.uk (where I bought it) tech support got me sorted out and working in no time.
Well worth the investment in my opinion.
