Kuredu Island Resort in the Maldives is very beautiful and paradise like. The room was simple but nice. Service was excellent, and house keeping was very good. It was a nice touch with the T-shirt, fruit and sparkling wine for honeymooners. We were in a jacuzzi beach villa, which was nice, and I think I still prefer it to a water villa, as you are on the beach and you have the jacuzzi.
Unfortunately, I got very sick and had to call out the doctor in the middle of the night. Thank God for insurance, because it was $240 for that. The doctor told me it wasn't food poisoning as they hadn't had that on the island for at least 2 years, but I am not so sure.
Also, we were asked if we would move islands (an upgrade) as they were overbooked, which would be for 1 night. I didn't want to, as I was only just feeling better, but I don't think they were to happy with this.
Overall, it was a good honeymoon location, but I haven't got other islands to compare it with.
