Nice hotel with good room features, TV, fridge and microwave.
The reps lack of knowledge.
We booked one week self catering in Ibiza with First Choice, and we stayed at the Orquidea Hotel, St Eulalia. When we were on the flight we were told that to watch the in-flight movie we would have to purchase headphones at £2.50 each. As there were 3 of us, we didn't, so we couldn't hear the film. Then if you want a blanket while on-board you have to pay £4, which is not good if you're travelling on the graveyard flight. Meals cost £6 each way, and they are about the quality and quantity of a 99p Iceland ready meal. We also had to sit in row 6, which is at the front of the plane, so the take off and landing was very uncomfortable. I always thought that the front and back seats were the cheap ones, not the £1600 holiday ones.
The coach transfer was annoying, with the driver not being a good driver. On waiting for the coach to take us back, one coach turned up and the rep said "all Manchester passengers please", and as we were Luton we didn't get on. The driver shut the luggage doors and then she came up to us and asks who we are. We say we want the Luton and she says get on-board.
Due to terrorist threats we couldn't take hand luggage aboard, so it would have to be checked in. We got to Luton and to the baggage reclaim, and most of the bags were heavily scuffed, and some passengers belongings were loose going round the belt. I first went to Spain with JMC, and I will go with them if I ever travel abroad in the future.
